Every Drop Counts: Mastering Water Budgets for Smarter Irrigation Management | KC
1

Irrigation water budgeting can be an effective tool for managing water use while protecting both landscapes and water resources. Experience a practical look at how water budgets are developed, and why they matter.  You'll also learn how they can help landscape professionals, property managers, and municipalities improve irrigation performance while reducing unnecessary water use and operating costs.

Participants will gain a clear understanding of water budget methodology, and the tools to successfully implement and manage a water budget program in the field, from tracking usage and setting realistic expectations to communicating results with clients and stakeholders.

Real-world examples from the City of Clermont and Florida Water Star’s commercial program will demonstrate how water budgeting strategies are being applied successfully in residential and commercial landscapes today. Attendees will leave with practical insights, proven strategies, and a stronger understanding of how water budgets can support sustainability goals, regulatory compliance, and long-term landscape health.
