Thomas is a graduate of West Virginia University, where he obtained a B.S. in Recreation Parks and Tourism. Through that programs forestry focus he moved into a career as an arborist. Thomas Joined Bartlett Tree Experts in the Spring of 2018. He started in the Irwin, Pa location , and then spent most of his career in the Pisgah Forest Location. There he held the roles of Arborist Climber, Crew leader, and Local office Safety Coordinator. In that time, he obtained his CDL class B, NC pesticide Applicators License, and Tree Risk Assessment Qualification. In 2024 he moved into the role of Regional Safety Manager, covering the southeast region from Nashville Tennessee to Florida. He now holds a Certified Treecare Safety Professional credential and a BCSP Associate Safety Professional Credential.
