Jack Simmons is Director of Design for Yellowstone Landscape. Growing up in Kentucky and working on beautiful horse farms shaped his appreciation for the outdoors, plants, and landscape design while also gaining an understanding of form and function. He earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Kentucky in 2013. Shortly thereafter, Jack joined Yellowstone Landscape in Orlando as a Landscape Designer, where I played an integral role in designing and delivering commercial landscape projects throughout Florida.
Over the past decade, his career has evolved alongside Yellowstone’s continued growth and national expansion. In 2020, he advanced into the role of Lead Designer, directing the design and execution of large-scale commercial landscape developments across the United States. Today, as Director of Design based in Tampa, he leads a multidisciplinary team of Landscape Designers nationwide, guiding strategic design initiatives for one of the country’s premier commercial landscape organizations.
Jack's passion lies in creating landscapes that balance aesthetics, functionality, and long-term performance. With a deep understanding of plant material, placemaking, and environmental design, he believes exceptional landscapes have the power to elevate experiences, strengthen communities, and leave a lasting impression.
